Our Programming
Our programming consists of a great selection of classic and contemporary jazz pieces both vocal and instrumental, many featuring the Great American Songbook catalog of jazz standards. You will hear the unforgettable classic artists of the 1920s to the 1950s like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Thelonious Monk, Ornette Coleman, Peggy Lee, Gerry Mulligan, June Christy, Nat King Cole, Blossom Dearie, Doris Day, Sidney Bechet, Chet Baker, Sonny Rollins and Dave Brubeck.
We complement the playlist with more contemporary recordings of the 1960s and 1970s by Oscar Peterson, Maynard Ferguson, Chick Corea, Bud Powell, Etta Jones, Bill Evans, Cleo Laine, Mose Allison, McCoy Tyner, Keith Jarrett and later releases of the 1980s to today by Wynton Marsalis, Diana Krall, Rod Stewart, Angela Hegenbach, Tony Bennett, Branford Marsalis and Nellie McKay. These are only a few samples as we offer a lot more. We add new pieces on a regular basis so keep listening!
Like all our other radio stations, our website and players display at all times the artist name, the track title, the year of release and good high-quality album art scans for your enjoyment while the song is playing.

The World's Jazz Station
The World's Jazz Station is our regular all-day/all-night programme. We play a random rotation of our full playlist of thousands of pieces of classic and contemporary jazz that we have in our repertoire.
Jazz at Christmas
Deck the halls with uplifting jazz for the holidays! During the month of December (December 1st to December 26th inclusive), we play two Christmas jazz songs per hour at :15 and :45.

Yimago Jazz is broadcasting since March 20th, 2023. Our streaming servers are managed by TorontoCast, a SOCAN (The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) licensed provider. We operate in full compliance with international internet broadcasting laws.
